The best vegan junk food in Woolacombe!

We recently went to Woolacombe Beach in Devon for the first time. On returning from our recent trip exploring the likes of Daymer Bay and Crantock Beach for a week in Cornwall, we stopped for two nights in Ilfracombe Devon.

We were otherwise driving back on Ben’s birthday for three and a half hours, so when planning our holiday, I asked if he wanted to stop anywhere halfway home. Having not been to Woolacombe before, he suggested stopping here for a night or so.

There was no accommodation available in Woolacombe, but nearby Ilfracombe had an Airbnb cottage which was perfect. Another place we hadn’t been to yet in Devon and could also explore.

Can’t go out for Valentine’s? Here’s how to create a restaurant experience at home!

It really sucks that we can’t travel right now.  Not only can we not travel, but we can’t even leave our local area.  We can’t even travel around our own towns and cities, as my local police force made clear recently – if the distance we travel for exercise is further than we’d class a local pub, then we’ve travelled too far!

I also read the next lockdown review is on February 22nd, so that means no romantic weekends away for Valentine’s and sadly not even the opportunity to go out for a date night at a restaurant.

If you normally celebrate Valentine’s Day and you’re disappointed with this news then what can you do?  How can you make it special whilst looking at the same four walls you’re super bored of seeing every day right now?!

Save money + get discounts on family days out, food, cinema + travel with Kids Pass

Going for a family day out to a local attraction can be quite costly.  For the four of us to enjoy a day out at a wildlife park or theme park, for example, can cost well over £100 once you factor in entrance fees, parking, getting there and so on.  In fact, it can often cost a lot more than this.  It’s quite mad how a lot of theme parks and similar now also charge a parking charge for the day!  Surely it should just be free to park in their car park whilst a visitor?!  It’s madness.

Family holiday costs can also stack up to ridiculous amounts.  With all this in mind, it’s always great to cut costs wherever possible and to make a saving on ticket prices when we can.  Sometimes searching high and low online for a discount can do the trick, but if you are looking for an easier way to make massive savings on family days out then I am going to introduce you to Kids Pass in this blog post.
