Pentewan Beach House Review: A Tiny House Holiday in Cornwall

We recently spent a weekend at the very popular Pentewan Sands Holiday Park, located on the southern coast of Cornwall in the village of Pentewan, near St Austell. This five-star resort boasts its own private sandy beach and a wide range of accommodation options.

We’re no strangers to the Pentewan holiday resort, having previously stayed twice in a mobile home and once camping in a tent—but this time we finally experienced something we’d been eyeing up for years: the Pentewan Beach House!

In this review, I’ll share our thoughts on the beach house accommodation, what we loved, what could be improved, and what’s nearby to do during your stay.

A Rainy Review: The Lost Gardens of Heligan in November

When we had an annual pass for the Eden Project, it gave us free entry to six other attractions in Cornwall during the months of November and January. We made the most of this and visited all six places! One of these places was The Lost Gardens of Heligan which we chose to visit in the month of November. Had it not been for the free entry offer, we would have preferred to visit Heligan Gardens in the summer months, but this was a deal not to be missed so we eagerly waited until we could visit for free! In this blog post, I will share our thoughts on The Lost Gardens of Heligan during our rainy, late autumn visit!

In this blog post, I will share my Pentewan Sands Holiday Park review and lots of photos at the end. Pentewan Sands is a holiday resort in Cornwall with a privately owned beach called Pentewan Sands Beach.

It’s a touring site with pitches for caravans, campers and tents, but also has a large range of holiday homes to rent and beach houses. We stayed in a three-bedroom holiday home in The Willows section.

Cornwall with kids: walking the coast path to Mevagissey

During our October 2019 holiday to Cornwall we decided to walk the coast path from Pentewan Sands Beach to Mevagissey with the kids. Our kids are ages seven and four. It was just under 2 miles and probably just enough for them as there was lots of steep hill climbing for their little legs.  We’d already walked around 8km on the beach before taking them on this trek! In this blog post I’ll share lots of photos of our coastal path walk to Mevagissey.
