Wandering The Streets Of Lindos, Rhodes

On our recent family holiday to Rhodes, we spent time exploring one of the island’s most famous and picturesque spots – Lindos. Last year, we only passed by it by boat, gliding past the coastline from St Paul’s Bay on our way to Navarone Bay aboard the Hippo Submarine.

From the water, Lindos looked beautiful, stacked white buildings beneath an ancient acropolis on the hilltop. I knew then I wanted to return and explore it properly on foot one day.

Exploring Seven Springs (Epta Piges) in Rhodes: Waterfalls, Wildlife & The Tunnel Walk

On our recent family holiday to Kolymbia in Rhodes, we decided to visit a place called Seven Springs, or Epta Piges in Greek. I’d seen it mentioned when planning our trip but somehow forgotten about it until a waitress in Rhodes Old Town reminded me.

She asked where we were staying, and when I told her Kolymbia, she said, “Oh, have you been to Seven Springs? It’s nearby.” That was all the reminder I needed.

Back at our villa in Kolymbia, we looked it up on the map and realised it was just a short drive away, tucked into the foothills of the Tsambika mountain range. It was too close to miss.

Exploring Rhodes Old Town: Thoughts, Photos & Videos of This Incredible Medieval City

On our October trip to Rhodes, we finally made it to one of the places that had been at the top of our list since our first visit in 2024 – Rhodes Old Town.

Last year, during our one-week family holiday in Kolymbia, we ran out of time to explore the island’s capital. With school half term limiting our stay and wanting to balance pool and beach days with sightseeing, we simply couldn’t fit it in.

So when we returned to Rhodes in 2025, we had a list of must-sees ready. Right at the top was the ancient walled city – a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the oldest continuously inhabited medieval town in Europe.

Zen Club Luxury Villas Review, Kolymbia Rhodes: Our Stay At Villa Koan

If you’ve ever scrolled through villa photos and wondered whether a wide-angle lens is making everything look twice the size, you’re not alone.

That’s exactly what I thought when we booked Villa Koan at Zen Club Luxury Villas in Kolymbia, Rhodes. The villas looked incredibly modern and sleek, but I half expected them to feel a lot smaller in real life.

They didn’t.

When we arrived, we were genuinely amazed. Villa Koan felt even bigger and more impressive than the photos. Everything looked new, fresh and beautifully finished, and from that first step inside, we had the feeling we’d chosen somewhere special.

This review shares exactly what our stay was like, from the late-night arrival and first impressions to the bedrooms, bathrooms, pool, location and who I think this villa is best for.

Airbnb Discount Code UK: What Still Works and How to Save

If you’ve been searching online for an Airbnb discount code UK, you may have noticed it’s harder to find one than before. That’s because Airbnb ended its guest referral scheme for UK users. In the past, new customers could sign up via a referral link to claim money off their first booking, but this option is no longer available in the UK.

The good news is that Airbnb is still one of the best ways to save money on accommodation and experiences compared to traditional hotels. And while guests can no longer get referral discounts, existing users can still earn cash rewards by sharing referral links with people who sign up to host, create an experience, or offer a service.

In this guide, I’ll explain what’s changed, what still works, and why Airbnb is still my go-to for affordable and unique travel stays.
