When we first planned to revisit Rhodes, I already knew I wanted to spend more time in Lindos. Not only to wander its maze of whitewashed streets and soak up the views, but also to find somewhere we could all enjoy eating together as a vegan family.
That’s how we discovered T-Veg – an entirely vegan restaurant right in the heart of Lindos, serving everything from plant-based Greek classics to smoothie bowls and pastas.
It quickly became one of our favourite places on the island. So much so that we went twice – once for lunch in the sunshine, and again for dinner under the glow of the Acropolis.
Read on for my T-Veg review, full of delicious suggestions and photos of our food and the amazing Lindos rooftop views!
Discovering T-Veg
We actually found T-Veg before our trip while searching online for vegan restaurants in Rhodes. It kept coming up in top reviews, described as a must-visit spot for anyone following a plant-based diet. Seeing that it was 100% vegan sealed the deal for us. No checking menus for hidden dairy or asking for substitutes – just total freedom to choose whatever we fancied.
As a family of four vegans, that’s a rare treat. It’s so refreshing to look at a menu and know that every single thing on it is suitable – and that the staff will understand what being vegan actually means!
That’s exactly what we found at T-Veg.

Arriving In Lindos
Both times we visited, we parked at the edge of Lindos village -one visit in the paid car park near St Paul’s Bay, and another time a bit further up where we found free parking. From there, it’s only a short walk through the narrow streets before you start spotting restaurant signs tucked between the white buildings.
Even though Lindos can be busy, especially in the day, it’s surprisingly peaceful once you step into a restaurant courtyard or rooftop. T-Veg is no exception. It’s tucked among the maze-like lanes, easy enough to find thanks to the village map we saw as we entered Lindos, and felt calm the moment we arrived.

We chose the same table both times – right up on the rooftop. There’s more seating on the floor below too, which would be handy if you prefer shade or if it’s windy, but for us the views from the rooftop were too good to give up.

First Impressions
Both visits, we arrived a little earlier than the main rush – around noon for lunch and six o’clock sharp for dinner (which is when the dinner menu starts). At first, the restaurant was quiet, giving us the best pick of tables, but by the time we left both times, it was full.
The staff were friendly, welcoming, and completely unhurried. They recognised us straight away when we came back for dinner later in the week and even remembered what our son had ordered the first time. That kind of warmth really stands out.
The setting is simple but stylish – white walls, wooden tables, white chairs, and young plants adding a bit of greenery. It’s minimalist and fresh, matching the clean, wholesome feel of their food.

The Rooftop Experience
At lunchtime, the views were stunning. From our table, we could see Lindos Acropolis towering above, the whitewashed rooftops of Lindos below, and the deep blue of the sea in the distance.

The parasols offered shade, though they did flap a bit in the breeze – something the staff clearly noticed too, as they’d been taken down for the evening service when we returned another day (although perhaps they take them down in the evening anyway, so the stars and night views can be seen!).
When we came back for dinner, it was lovely to see how the view transformed as the sun went down. We arrived in daylight, but as we ate, the lights of Lindos began to glow. The Acropolis lit up golden above the village, and the atmosphere became so calm and relaxed.
It was really special seeing both sides of Lindos from the same spot – bright and bustling in the day, peaceful and glowing by night.
The Food
Now onto the best part – the food itself.
The menu is entirely vegan, with a great mix of traditional Greek dishes, pastas, salads, smoothies, and desserts. Everything sounded so tempting that it was hard to choose.
For lunch, we all started with smoothies. I had the berry one, which was thick, fruity, and refreshing – the perfect start after walking around Lindos in the heat.

Reuben ordered banana pancakes (his new obsession) and homemade chips, while Bella and Ben both went for the pita gyros.

I had the Caesar salad, and honestly, it was one of the best vegan salads I’ve ever had. Crunchy, creamy, full of flavour – the kind you don’t want to end.

Reuben loved his pancakes so much that he immediately said he wanted to come back again before we’d even finished eating.
So we did…!

When we returned a few days later for dinner, we decided to share a mix of starters and mains to try as much as possible.

We had pitta breads with traditional Greek dips, Greek-style chickpea balls (called daily keftedes) with vegan tzatziki, and garlic bread.

For the mains, Ben chose the pappardelle portobello, Bella had the linguine aglio olio, I went for the vegan Greek salad this time.

Reuben ordered his beloved banana pancakes again – even though they weren’t actually on the dinner menu! When we arrived, he asked the chef if they were still making them, and she said she’d make some just for him. He was thrilled, and that moment made our night. He also had some of their homemade fries!

Everything was delicious, but we all agreed Bella’s pasta was the standout. Perfectly cooked, garlicky, and full of flavour.

The presentation was simple and elegant, and the portions were generous. Nothing felt heavy or greasy – just really good, fresh, balanced food.
Service & Atmosphere
The service was just right. Relaxed but attentive, never rushed. Plates came out at a good pace, and we were encouraged to take our time and enjoy the views. When we finished, the staff smiled and told us not to hurry, to sit and relax a bit longer. It’s small gestures like that which make a place memorable.
Both times, the restaurant filled up completely by the time we left, but it never felt loud or chaotic. There was a calm rhythm to the place, and you could tell everyone there was happy – both diners and staff.
Value For Money
Like most restaurants in Lindos, T-Veg isn’t cheap, but it’s not expensive either. Our family of four dinner with drinks (including smoothies, a couple of proseccos, and beers), starters, and mains came to around €150 – pretty standard for the area, especially given the setting and the quality of the food. Lunch was closer to €100.
For the experience, the views, and the fact that every dish is vegan (and delicious), I think it’s great value. We also completely over-indulged during the dinner sitting, so it could be cheaper with less food and drinks!
Vegan Heaven In Lindos
It’s rare to find a fully vegan restaurant in Greece, especially somewhere as traditional and historic as Lindos. T-Veg manages to blend that local charm with a fresh, modern twist. They serve everything from Greek staples like gyros and salads to creative pastas, smoothie bowls, and desserts – all 100% plant-based.
They also cater for kids, with a small children’s menu, and offer gluten-free options too.
If you’re vegan, vegetarian, or just someone curious about plant-based food, this place is a must. You’ll eat well, feel good, and enjoy one of the best views in Lindos while you do it.

Final Thoughts
T-Veg quickly became a highlight of our week in Rhodes. It’s everything you could hope for in a vegan restaurant – delicious food, friendly service, and views that make you want to linger long after your plates are cleared.
Eating there twice, both in the sunshine and under the stars, gave us two completely different but equally lovely experiences.
If you’re visiting Lindos, whether for a few hours or a few days, I can’t recommend T-Veg enough. Sit on the rooftop, order a smoothie or pasta, and just take it all in – the views, the warmth, the energy of Lindos.
For us, it was the perfect spot to pause, relax, and enjoy vegan food that felt as good as the setting itself.
