We recently spent a week on a family holiday in Cyprus, staying at Villa Kambos Dio near Polis, and it was full of surprises—in a good way!

Even though I’d done a small amount of research into the area we were staying, and had a general idea of what to expect, there were still lots of little things that caught me off guard.

Sedella, Spain: Stunning Mountain Walks & Incredible Views

During our recent visit to Sedella in the mountainous region of Andalucía, Spain, we had the chance to explore some beautiful nearby trails. As well as spending time with family in this peaceful white village, we took a couple of mountain walks to soak in the scenery, enjoy some sunshine, and spot local points of interest like a Roman bridge and a restored stone guard’s hut.

Nerja, Spain: A Half-Day Visit for Vegan Eats & Beach Fun

We recently visited Spain to see family in Sedella, a beautiful white mountain village, and stayed about 30 minutes away in Carraspite. Since we were surrounded by mountains, we wanted to experience one of the nearby beach regions during our stay.

For a quick half-day trip, we headed to Nerja, a well-known coastal town famous for its scenic beaches, vibrant town centre, and stunning viewpoints. We indulged in some vegan junk food, explored beaches, let the kids enjoy play areas on the sand, and wandered through the picturesque streets.

Sicily has been catching our attention as a top destination for a family-friendly holiday this year.
