Thailand is a tropical paradise with so much to offer the tourist, including a colourful and unique culture that represents proud and very hospitable people. While there are many places to visit, Thailand is perhaps best known for its unique floating markets, which have been in place for centuries on the many canals and waterways that run through the country. Traditionally, fish were transported from the sea to be sold at floating markets, along with a diverse selection of herbs, spices, vegetables and fruit.

It is not surprising why visiting the country’s floating markets are in almost every traveller’s mind. Buying goods from floating boats and while on board a little boat yourself is truly an unforgettable experience. There is a wealth of exotic fruits and savoury Thai snacks to choose from, and even hot Thai dishes that are made to order.
