I love walking the Cornish coastal paths. You get to see the beaches from a different view and whenever we’re in Cornwall, I’m always stunned by how clear, blue and turquoise the seas actually are.
From the beach, you simply can’t always tell how incredible the water truly is. Definitely take a walk up the coastal paths when you see them to appreciate the full beauty of the Cornish sea and the stunning coastal views.
Today I walked a short coastal path from Daymer Beach to Brea Beach in Cornwall. Including walking across Daymer beach from their car park, the walk there and back was around 3km. If you don’t have a lot of things to carry then it was much quieter at Brea Beach and not far at all.
We prefer finding quieter spots when we can, however I left Ben and the kids paddling in the water at Daymer Beach which was pretty busy. I went for a walk alone to see the next beach along. The coast path looked amazing and I just had to see the views.
The kids were happy playing in the water so I didn’t want to drag them with me on this one! I was happy to wait for bigger waves at Watergate Bay later in the day for my fill of bodyboarding!

Stunning! Have you tried the Pembrokeshire coastal path? It’s favourite of ours!
Ooh no we haven’t yet 🙂 We’ve done lots of the Gower in Wales which is beautiful and I hear good things about the rest of the coastline too!
Absolutely beautiful and so peaceful, the water looks super clear too.
You can’t beat a walk along the coast, so refreshing and breath taking.
This looks and sounds really lovely, but maybe it will be a bit busier now you have highlighted the area.
This looks like such a beautiful area. We have always wanted to visit Cornwall so will keep this in mind for when we finally go.
Looks great fun!
Brilliant photos!
A stunning piece of coastline; thanks for sharing your photos! That water looks beautiful.
