Save money + get discounts on family days out, food, cinema + travel with Kids Pass

Going for a family day out to a local attraction can be quite costly.  For the four of us to enjoy a day out at a wildlife park or theme park, for example, can cost well over £100 once you factor in entrance fees, parking, getting there and so on.  In fact, it can often cost a lot more than this.  It’s quite mad how a lot of theme parks and similar now also charge a parking charge for the day!  Surely it should just be free to park in their car park whilst a visitor?!  It’s madness.

Family holiday costs can also stack up to ridiculous amounts.  With all this in mind, it’s always great to cut costs wherever possible and to make a saving on ticket prices when we can.  Sometimes searching high and low online for a discount can do the trick, but if you are looking for an easier way to make massive savings on family days out then I am going to introduce you to Kids Pass in this blog post.

It’s a good habit to get into to always check for discounts before going on a family day out.  Often it’s cheaper if you book tickets online in advance, but sometimes you can save even more, such as getting kid’s entry free or BOGOF deals on adult entry.  I think this is why some of the well-known attractions in the UK charge so much for regular entry – because they know most people will use the discount codes they find!

Whenever we go out I do always try to remember to look for vouchers to save a bit of cash, especially if we’re going to a chain restaurant or well-known attraction.  There’s usually some money to be saved off the face value of a ticket, but it can involve a lot of scouring the website to find a legit code, if I can find one at all.  I’m all for things that make this process a lot easier and less time consuming which is why Kids Pass is a brilliant idea!

Kids Pass offer amazing savings on meals out with kids, ticket prices to top attractions in the UK and even family travel discounts.  It’s a membership card that gives you great access to so many discounts so you can search for a discount for the place you are going to, or even better, find where to go by searching for local places that offer a discount so you can guarantee you’ll make a saving.

Currently they have an offer on so you can trial the service for £1 for a month to see if it’s for you.  Just click my Kids Pass link to sign up!

Save money on family holidays

I signed up and downloaded the app to check it out earlier this year and was amazed to see a saving of up to 50% off a Eurocamp holiday.  They also have discounts on Forest Holidays, cottages.com and Hoseasons.  On their Twitter it says ‘up to 40% off family holidays and UK breaks’ which is an amazing amount to save, especially if you are going to book the holiday anyway.

Kids eat free offers

Whilst it’s usually going to be cheaper to take your own food on family days out and holidays, sometimes it’s great to eat out as a treat or for a special occasion, or simply because that’s what you like to do on a day out or holiday!  Restaurant bills really do start to creep up and add up when you throw kids into the mix, so finding deals with Kids Pass can make things a lot more affordable.  There are several offers on Kids Pass and you can search for nearby restaurants to make things even easier.  Find offers such as 25% off all food, kids eat for £1 and BOGOF deals.  They even have deals on takeaways and although the app is aimed at families, you can make great savings in restaurants and on takeaways that don’t require you to have children!

Savings on UK family days out

Kids Pass state they have up to 57% off family days out, at the time of writing this, on their website.  All the major theme parks are listed on the app with savings of up to 57%.  There are also activities such as bowling, go-karting, trampolining and more.  There are nature centres, wildlife parks, zoos and farms.  There is so much to choose from, it’s also a great way of finding something to do with the family if you’re stuck for ideas or looking for a new place to visit, plus you’ll get a discount at the same time!
