Going for a family day out to a local attraction can be quite costly.  For the four of us to enjoy a day out at a wildlife park or theme park, for example, can cost well over £100 once you factor in entrance fees, parking, getting there and so on.  In fact, it can often cost a lot more than this.  It’s quite mad how a lot of theme parks and similar now also charge a parking charge for the day!  Surely it should just be free to park in their car park whilst a visitor?!  It’s madness.

I signed up and downloaded the app to check it out earlier this year and was amazed to see a saving of up to 50% off a Eurocamp holiday.  They also have discounts on Forest Holidays, cottages.com and Hoseasons.  On their Twitter it says ‘up to 40% off family holidays and UK breaks’ which is an amazing amount to save, especially if you are going to book the holiday anyway.

Whilst it’s usually going to be cheaper to take your own food on family days out and holidays, sometimes it’s great to eat out as a treat or for a special occasion, or simply because that’s what you like to do on a day out or holiday!  Restaurant bills really do start to creep up and add up when you throw kids into the mix, so finding deals with Kids Pass can make things a lot more affordable.  There are several offers on Kids Pass and you can search for nearby restaurants to make things even easier.  Find offers such as 25% off all food, kids eat for £1 and BOGOF deals.  They even have deals on takeaways and although the app is aimed at families, you can make great savings in restaurants and on takeaways that don’t require you to have children!
